Can Renova CTR damage my skin?

Since RF energy produces an electrical current instead of a light source like lasers, tissue damage can be minimized, and epidermal melanin is not targeted or typically damaged. Therefore, RF energies can be used for patients of all skin types and colours.

WHAT TO EXPECT

RF is a relaxing treatment with little or no discomfort. We apply a smooth layer of our RF Zip Gel to the skin which acts as a conductor for the RF energy. A handpiece will be placed onto the skin and moved in circular motions. The temperature will build to 40 – 42 degrees, your therapist will continue to maintain the heat as this instigates collagen regeneration.
In relation to your result process, for body Radio Frequency treatments, we recommend up to 4-8 treatments for optimal results on a weekly to fortnightly basis.

WHO IS SUITABLE

The ideal age group for this treatment is 25+ years old, or anyone who is experiencing a loss of collagen and elasticity in areas that can be treated for HIFU. Anyone with severe loss of collagen and elastin may benefit slightly from this non-invasive procedure, however, would require surgery for full tightness and lifting of the particular skin.

RESULTS

Clients will often notice an immediate effect post their first treatment, however, it is important to note that this is not the full effect and it’s extremely important for clients to complete the rest of their treatments in their treatment time frame to see an improvement in the area being treated.
